My Journey
I'm Hazrat Maghaz, a passionate Bioinformatics Researcher and Computational Biologist from Pakistan, currently pursuing my Master's degree in MS Bioinformatics at NUST School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Engineering (SINES). My journey combines the fascinating world of molecular biology with cutting-edge computational approaches and artificial intelligence.
Since April 2022, I've been helping researchers, students, and businesses worldwide with bioinformatics analysis, AI-powered drug discovery, QSAR modeling, molecular docking, and web development projects. My work bridges computational drug design with real-world applications in healthcare and research.
Research Specialization
I specialize in computational drug discovery and AI-driven biomedical research. My current research focuses on developing AI-based classifiers for rare cancer diseases using DNA methylation data, combining epigenomics with machine learning for early cancer detection. My expertise spans molecular docking (PyRx, GOLD, AutoDock Vina), QSAR modeling with SHAP interpretation, genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, single-cell sequencing, and multi-task deep learning for disease prediction.
I bridge wet lab techniques (DNA extraction using SDS kit, PCR, ELISA) with computational power (Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch), giving me a unique perspective that respects both experimental feasibility and computational innovation. My AI expertise spans Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs), enabling me to tackle complex biological problems with cutting-edge technology.
My work in computational drug design (rational drug design) combines molecular docking, QSAR modeling, NGS analysis, and AI-driven approaches to accelerate drug discovery. From genomic variant analysis to protein-ligand interactions, I apply rigorous computational methods to advance precision medicine and therapeutic development.
